Gas

British natural gas prices fell on Thursday, impacted by weaker LDZ offtake amid warmer weather. NBP spot price declined by more than 6%, reaching 82.60 p/therm. Likewise, on the forward curve, the Win-2025 gas price lost over 3%, settling at around 94 p/therm influenced by steady fundamentals and increased Norwegian supply due to easing maintenance.

Power

The UK spot electricity price rose by 8.5% to stand at 56.54 GBP/MWh amid a decrease in wind generation. On the forward curve, the Winter 2025 electricity price decreased by 2.6% to reach 85.16 GBP/MWh, following the downward movement in gas prices.
