Gas
On Thursday, UK prompt gas prices closed lower, with the NBP spot contract falling 1% to 99.60 p/therm amid decreased demand. Further along the curve, the Winter-26 contract shed by 2.3% to 103.11 p/therm, due to strong supply.
Power
On Thursday, stronger renewable generation put pressure on day-ahead power prices, with the contract falling by 7.3% to 97.40 £/MWh. Further along the curve, the Winter-26 power contract decreased by 0.4% to 95.42 £/MWh, tracking weaker gas prices.
