Gas

The NBP spot contract rose by 0.7% to 149.60 p/therm on Thursday, following an outage at Norway’s Kollsnes processing plant that reduced gas flows to the rest of Europe by 10.8 mcm/day.

Further along the curve, the Winter 2026 delivery contract fell by 1% to 149.15 p/therm, tracking weaker energy markets despite stalled US-Iran talks, low storage injections and reduced inventory levels.

Power

The UK spot electricity price fell by 2.5% to 145.50 GBP/MWh on Thursday, as concerns over heatwave-driven demand eased.

Further along the forward curve, the UK Winter 2026 power contract declined by 0.5% to 124.77 GBP/MWh, tracking weaker gas prices.
