On Friday, British gas prices gained ground, with NBP spot up 0.6% to 110.25 p/therm, as colder weather forecasts increased near-term demand expectations. Further along the curve, Win-26 delivery prices rose by about 2% to 113.15 p/therm on supply concerns.



On Friday, the British day-ahead electricity price dropped by 2.5% to 99.50 GBP/MWh, pressured by stronger renewable generation.
Along the forward curve, the Win-26 contract increased by 2.3% to 96.20 GBP/MWh, following stronger gas prices.
